En quelques mots, un parcours musical…

Né en 2002, Nicolas Kilhoffer commence à l’âge de 7 ans l’apprentissage du piano avec Cécile Steffanus à Saverne. S’intéressant de plus en plus à l’orgue qu’il appréhende en autodidacte, accompagnant la liturgie dès ses 10 ans, il fait à ce moment la rencontre de Rémy Kalck, qui le fait considérablement progresser en cinq années d’études. S’attachant à suivre le conseil de ses deux professeurs, Nicolas Kilhoffer intègre en 2017 la classe d’orgue de Daniel Maurer au Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional (CRR) de Strasbourg, pour l’interprétation et l’improvisation. En parallèle, toujours sur le plan instrumental, il y poursuit l’étude du piano avec Elyette Weil, et reçoit au titre d’une formation musicale les enseignements de Vincent Freppel et Gaël Lozac’h (harmonie, écriture). Se produisant régulièrement en France lors de récitals et de festivals, Nicolas Kilhoffer aime à partager sa passion pour l’orgue et promouvoir ainsi l’instrument, sa littérature et les ressources qu’il offre en termes d’improvisation.

In a few words, a musical path…

Born in 2002, Nicolas Kilhoffer started playing the piano at age 7 with Cécile Steffanus in Saverne (France). He gradually became interested in the organ, which he learned on his own; this led him to play his first mass at the age of 10. He met Rémy Kalck the same year, a teacher with whom he progressed considerably for 5 years. On the advice of his two music teachers, in 2017 he joined the Strasbourg Conservatoire (CRR) in organ in the class of Daniel Maurer. He also studied improvisation, piano with Elyette Weil, musical training with Vincent Freppel and harmony with Gaël Lozac’h. He regularly performs at organ concerts and festivals in France to share and promote his passion.
