We, a group of eight French students, currently on an international solidarity mission in Nairobi Road Primary School, Nakuru, are requesting your help to complete our project.

Our association, called Un Autre Monde (Another World), is dedicated to promoting education in regions where its access is limited.

Our specific project entails the construction of a classroom at Nairobi Road Primary School. The structure we are working on was previously a shed, which we are transforming into a laboratory for practical scientific activities for the children. Over the last few weeks, we have successfully demolished the shed, established the foundations of the classroom, and initiated the forming of its walls.

Our upcoming tasks involve completing the walls, installing windows, adding a roof and applying a coat of paint. Concurrently, we are conducting classes and engaging in various activities with the children, encompassing subjects such as arts, agriculture, science and ICT.

In order to accomplish this, we have gathered 7500 euros and require additional funding to finalize the construction. Specifically, the remaining funds will enable us to install windows and apply a coat of paint to the classroom.

The Concert

To acquire the necessary funds, we have proposed the organization of a pipe organ concert at All Saint’s Cathedral in Nairobi. One of our team members, Nicolas, is a pipe organist and has prior experience in conducting similar concerts. The purpose of the concert is to promote and spread our project of providing quality education for these children. The concert is scheduled for July 9th at 4 PM.
